The B Vitamins are a group of water-soluble vitamins which all have an important and unique function in the functioning of the human body. Vitamin B7, also known as biotin, like most of the other B vitamins, is a coenzyme that play a pivotal role in the production of most hormones in the body, but is also needed for the metabolism of fat, protein and carbohydrates. If one does have a vitamin B7 deficiency it usually manifests as dry skin, brittle hair and fatigue.
