Stachybotrys Chartarum Atra, IgE

This test measures IgE antibodies to Stachybotrys Chartarum/Atra, a type of mold which is often found in buildings with water damage. Allergy testing can help determine how severe a reaction a person may have if they are exposed to this common form of mold. Symptoms of an allergic reaction usually include skin irritation, red itchy eyes, wheezing, and stuffy nose. People with severe allergies or conditions such as asthma may have more serious symptoms such as shortness of breath or fever.
