Rubeola, also commonly known as measles, is a viral infection that causes a mild to moderate rash and fever which lasts typically 3 weeks. The incident of rubeola has decreased with the introduction of the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine on the standard vaccination schedule for children.
