This blood test measures the amount of IgE antibodies in the blood and is ordered after having been exposed to some dog allergens and exhibiting any of the symptoms that accompany a dog allergy.

• Hives or rash
• Stomach cramps
• Nausea, diarrhea, vomiting
• Difficulty breathing
